Published in July 2025 by the Commission, this report explores how climate action and improving health can go hand in hand to create a fairer, more resilient future for the Yorkshire & Humber region. This report presents key findings gathered from a high-level roundtable in March 2025, and includes recommendations for integrating climate resilience into healthcare, tackling health inequalities, and empowering local systems to lead the way in sustainable transformation.
Produced in September 2024 by the Commission, the Climate Action Plan sets out how Yorkshire and Humber can become adaptive, resilient, and inclusive in responding to the climate and nature crises. The plan details key priorities and highlights how regional partnerships and community involvement can accelerate fair progress towards net zero whilst protecting and restoring nature across our region.
